FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

Tuition

There is an annual tuition fee, currently in the amount of 2750 euros.

PhD Scholarships

The Centre for Mathematics of the University of Coimbra (CMUC) and the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Porto (CMUP) will offer, through the Portuguese funding agency FCT, some doctoral scholarships (covering tuition fees and living expenses) to selected candidates.

Note also that:

- "la Caixa Foundation" offers PhD grants for research projects at top research centers in Portugal and Spain that include some PhD projects to be pursued at CMUC or CMUP under the UC|UP PhD Programme.

The applications should be submitted here until 4 February 2020.

- FCT holds annual competitions for doctoral scholarships (which cover tuition fees and living expenses). More information can be found on the web page http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/concursos

FCT 2020 Call for PhD Research Scholarships will be open from March 2nd to April 28th 2020.
