My current research focuses on a recent subject area, the field of Combinatorial Commutative Algebra. In my work, I use techniques from Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra to relate homological invariants of graded rings with combinatorial invariants of graphs.

I also maintain interest in older research topics in which I have been involved. These include the construction of projective varieties of interest (namely Calabi-Yau 3-folds, Fano 3-folds and surfaces of general type) and the applications of algebraic geometry and commutative algebra to the field of Linear Codes.
